Sports & Gymkhana:
College provides the facilities for conduct of various sports events like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basket Ball, Kabaddi, Hand Ball, Athletics, Table Tennis, Badminton, Carrom and Chess. College also participates in Inter-collegiate competitions organized by University of Mumbai & other colleges. College also organizes Inter-collegiate Tournaments in some events. The college has a big play ground with facility for games like Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Cricket & Foot Ball. Track facility for athletic events.

Rules for College Gymkhana :
-
The college provides the
following gymkhana facilities both Indoor
and Outdoor games (table-tennis, carrom,
chess, badminton, athletics, football, volleyball
and cricket). Students are required to read
the notices regarding sport activities.

Gymkhana facilities are
available only to the bonafide students
of the college. No outsider will be allowed
to play in the college gymkhana.

No student shall be permitted
to use the gymkhana facilities without proper
Identity card.
-
The gymkhana facilities
will be available to the students on working
days as per the following schedule :

9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. |

No student will be permitted
to play in the gymkhana at the time when
his / her lectures or practicals are going
on.

The gymkhana facilities
shall not be provided during the examination
period.

Students shall not create
nuisance in gymkhana by the actions, which
may obstruct the lectures and other work
in the college.
-
Students who are selected
for tournaments shall not remain absent
from participation and practice. In case
a player wants to remain absent, he/she
must seek permission from the sports in-charge.

It is compulsory for the
selected players to attend the coaching,
if any, for various games and sports regularly,
failing which he/she may be dropped from
the team.
-
Indiscipline in the team
will not be tolerated.
-
Students who do not make
judicious use of sports equipments may be
deprived of gymkhana facilities.
-
Any loss or breakage of
the gymkhana equipment at the hand of students
will have to be made good by the students
concerned.
-
In view of the preparation
for the final examination all the gymkhana
activities shall be closed at the end of
January.

Smoking is strictly prohibited
in gymkhana.
-
If a student is found guilty
of breaking any gymkhana rules he/she may
be deprived of gymkhana facilities.

Sports Achievements:
International Level:
2004 – 2005:

Mr. Indresh Tiwari (SYBSC) and Mr. Changdev Aghav (FYBCOM) participated in the International Level Marathon of 21 Km. that was organized by the Standard Chartered Bank on 9th January 2005 at Mumbai.
National Level Competitions:
2004-2005:
- Mr. Mayur Bansode of S.Y.B.A., won 2 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal at the 8th National Karate Championship 2004 that was held at Ambala from 22nd to 25th July 2004
2005-2006:
- Mr. Mayur S. Bansode of T.Y.B.A. – Sociology, won 3 Gold Medals and a Kirpan at the National Level Karate Championship held at Amritsar in Punjab from 24th – 27 November 2005.
State Level Competitions:
2005-2006:
- Mr. Subhas Das of T.Y.B.A. – Economics + Commerce., won a Gold Medal and Mr. Aftab Ayub of T.Y.B.A. – Economics & Mr. Pankaj Chandeia of T.Y.B.Com won a Silver Medal each at State Level Karate Championship 2005 for Maharashtra that was organized by Indian Amateur Sports Karate-do Association on 20th & 21st August 2005.
- Mr. Mayur S. Bansode of T.Y.B.A. – Sociology, won Gold Medal at the State Level Karate Championship held on the 12th & 13th of November 2005.
- Mr. Mayur S. Bansode of T.Y.B.A.- Sociology, won Gold Medal at the All Maharashtra Sports Karate Championship held at Mumbai on 20th November 2005.
- Mr. Brijesh Yadav of F.Y.B.Sc., won the 1st Prize in the Marathon – Run organized by North – East Mumbai District Youth Congress, Chembur on 6th January 2006.
- Mr. Brijesh Yadav of F.Y.B.Sc., won the 3rd Prize in the Mumbai – Marathon organized by Standard Chartered Bank on 15th January 2006.
University Level Competitions:
2008-2009:
- Ms. Seema Shetty of T.Y.B.Com. won Silver Medal in Javelin Throw.
- Mr. Sushil Shrike of F.Y.B.Sc. won the Bronze Medal in the ‘Best Physique’ contest organized by University of Mumbai.
- Ms. Kanchan Jadhav of F.Y.B.Sc. won the Bronze Medal in Shot put.
- Mr. Sunil Kami won the Bronze Medal in Tae Kwon Do.
Inter- Collegiate Competitions:
2008-2009:
Mr. Jain Meghani of F.Y.B.Com. - Banking & Insurance won the 1st Prize in an Inter Collegiate Table Tennis tournament organized by M.D. College, Parel on 14th December 2008
